Are you discouraged? Distressed? Defeated? This Post is for you! |
Written by Robyn T. Braley
Those who follow me on Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook know that I write original quotes. I’ve written about 700 and add to the list almost every day.
In 2026, we need to mobilize every tool and resource we have available. This year, I am writing posts with tips and ideas you can use immediately to grow you business or personal brand.
It only makes sense to start by offering encouragement, inspiration, and entertainment. If you feel overwhelmed, this post is for you! If you feel there is no hope, I want to help you think differently by reminding you that there is hope. You may need to search for it, but hope is always around the corner. To find it, you may need to try a little harder.
Quotes Are For You to Use
If you are active on social media, please cut and paste any of my quotes and post them as your content. I've made it easy by dividing them into topics and including my name with each one.
World economies have punished some while rewarding others. Political systems once considered unshakable are under threat. Our fears are amplified by the paralyzing fear of the unknown.
Think Differently
A timely quote can cause you to think differently. A few wise words can inspire you to turn your life around and take a new path.
In a moment of desperation, a simple phrase can give you hope where none existed. A quote can summarize the euphoria that comes after a great accomplishment when words fail you.
I love writing. I often find myself writing in a stream-of-consciousness. When I reread it, I discover a golden nugget that takes me by surprise. I've been surprised to find an expression of brilliance (in my mind, anyway) burrowed deep within a paragraph I didn't remember writing. It just came out.
Some quotes come from observing the weird - or not so weird - behaviours of others.
As a speaker, I love listening to other speakers. I often find their content helps me understand old ideas in new ways. Or stories about shared experiences remind me that I'm not alone. I often leave inspired to approach my problems differently. Quotes often emerge from the process.
Some of my content is spun off from others' observations on social media. I retweet them with a comment, which I expand into a new quote.
I copy it into a relevant document or subject area. I have about 50 different topics in my quote archive.
Some topics, like inspiration and motivation, have 20 to 25 pages. I have written approximately 700 quotes in all. These are just a few.
